Acupuncture

Herbs         Individually priced
Herb prices vary depending on your needs and the type of herbs you choose. 

Bulk herbs, to be cooked at home into teas, cost about $5 -$10 per bag.  Each bag provides 2 days worth of herbal tea. 

Powdered herbs are taken with water and no cooking is required.  These run at about $40 for a two week supply. 

Tablets tend to run anywhere from $10 - $40 for a 10 day supply.

Insurance Coverage
Many insurance plans are starting to cover acupuncture.  With some plans you need to elect this option upon enrollment in order to receive coverage.  Please check with your provider to find out if you are covered and what the coverage includes. 

The following plans and administrative groups are specifically accepted:

• PHCS

For any other plan, you will receive a receipt with all necessary information to submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.
